CAD Staffing Inc. is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role involves monitoring patients as they recover from anesthesia and surgical procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor post-operative patients for complications

  • Assess airway, vitals, and consciousness levels

  • Administer pain management protocols

  • Educate patients on post-discharge care

  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN)

  • Minimum 1 year of PACU or recovery room experience

  • Current ACLS and PALS certification

  • Excellent clinical assessment skills

  • Ability to work quickly in time-sensitive settings
