Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor cardiac status and administer heart medications

  • Perform EKGs and interpret telemetry readings

  • Collaborate with cardiologists and cardiac technicians

  • Educate patients on lifestyle and medication compliance

  • Maintain detailed cardiac records

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

  • At least 2 years in cardiac care nursing

  • ACLS certification required

  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring

  • Excellent patient education and advocacy skills
